3 Years and 1,000+ Influencers
Carly needed a lot of influencer content for their UK ads, and we delivered.
Carly had recently launched in the UK when we met them, having been successful in Europe for a little while. The UK team consisted of one person, Dan, a good friend of Fluential’s to this day. We were amazed at how he was doing it all by himself.
After getting to know us for 30 minutes he asked us one simple question. Could we get him 30 pieces of short-form influencer content, with the ad rights, every single month, within his budget?
Our answer: yes.
And so, we set to work. We had a tonne of automotive influencer relationships already thanks to our 4 years (at the time of starting this campaign) of working with Adrian Flux, so we knew exactly where to turn. We knew who could deliver effective content, with data to back it up, on time, every time.
Still, we won’t downplay the sheer amount of effort that goes into delivering 30 pieces of influencer content, from 30 unique influencers, each month. Some don’t respond. Some can’t create by the deadline. A lot of outreach went into this campaign, but the success made it all worth it.
But typical us, we wanted to do more.
We weren’t running the paid ads. Carly already had a team in-house back in Germany. But we said to Dan we wanted to do more. We wanted to make the content even more effective.
In collaboration with Dan, we devised a host of new, viral-trend inspired intros to test, adjusted our briefs in line with this, and began to gather new concepts. Dan immediately saw an uplift and asked us for more of that, please!
Still not content, we asked what else we could help with and, within the next few hours, we were outreaching YouTube creators to organise integrations in long-form content for Carly in the UK.
Fast forward a couple more years, and we now also assist Carly with integrations for YouTube content in Australia – our first foray into the world of Australian influencing. The Carly partnership further cements our spot in the automotive influencer world, and we hope to continue to work with them for many more years.

We can’t quite believe it either. Almost 700 of those were engaged as part of the monthly, ongoing work that we did for Carly. That’s a lot of emails, and a lot of content approval.

We told you it’s not always a simple yes, but that doesn’t stop us. We’re relentless for our clients. That said, a 50% acceptance rate is pretty high if we do say so ourselves.

3+ Years
It’s always brilliant to work with a brand long-term. You really get to know them, what they like, and what they need. We feel as though Carly a part of us, and we are a part of Carly, and that makes everything easier and more effective.
